Spotlight on National Opheliate™ Advisory Council

The newly formed National Opheliate™ Advisory Council held its inaugural session early this month, with representatives journeying to Erie from six of our eight Opheliates across North America. Participants gathered to collectively examine issues and questions raised by our National Opheliates and the communities who are looking at becoming National Opheliates.

Highlights of the weekend included idea and resource sharing among the National Opheliate™ representatives, as well as a group problem-solving session. The event served as an open forum for our reps' input and expertise in addressing concerns which arise at both the local and national level. 

As part of our international network, these spokespersons will help direct the course of The Ophelia Project as we continue to strive towards fulfilling our vision of creating safe social climates in communities wherever we go.
