A watch-dog organization reporting on state anti-bullying laws and advocating for bullied children. The site grades each state on the presence or quality of anti-bullying legislation.

A British site that was founded by a mother and son after their experience of dealing with bullying in school. Includes advice for students, parents, teachers, and youth leaders, as well as an interesting perspective on how the bullying issue is being dealt with in the United Kingdom.

Canadian Safe School Network

A national initiative dedicated to reducing youth violence and making Canadian schools and communities safer. The organization is recognized in Canada as the primary source for information and commentary on youth violence. Interactive activities and resources are available on the site for students, parents, and teachers.

ChildLine

ChildLine is the United Kingdom's 24-hour telephone helpline for children who are in distress or danger. Children call ChildLine with a wide range of problems, one of which is bullying. The site offers lots of good resources about bullying, as well as a description of the programming ChildLine has created to deal with the issue.

Girl Power is a national public education campaign sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to help encourage and motivate 9- to 13- year-old girls to make the most of their lives. Girls at 8 or 9 typically have very strong attitudes about their health, so Girl Power! seeks to reinforce and sustain these positive values among girls ages 9-13 by targeting health messages to the unique needs, interests, and challenges of girls.

ABCs of Bullying: Addressing, Blocking, & Curbing School Aggression

A free, online course offered through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The course can be taken at one's leisure, and examines the "causes and effects of bullying, prevention techniques and programs, screening, treatment options, and legal/ethical issues surrounding bullying.

Daughters: The Newsletter for Parents of Girls

From the creators of New Moon magazine, Daughters is a newsletter designed specifically for parents who are seeking to read up on the latest research and practical tools to improve communication with their daughters. Each issue is jam-packed with articles about issues girls face, including body image, sexuality and dating, friends and peer pressure, school, drugs and alcohol, and more.
